  • 01

Briefing-led design, not a fixed shape

Every delegation begins with a written brief: the substantive question the principals want to sit inside, sensitivities, attire expectations, dietary and security constraints. From that we shape a programme — usually 4 to 12 days, 6 to 18 people — built around named hosts and specific sites. The brief is reviewed with your chief of staff or programme officer before contracts move.

  • 02

    Off-the-record dialogue as the spine

The heart of most delegation weeks is conversation our principals could not arrange directly: a textile-mill founder in Shaoxing on supply-chain reshaping, a Dali-based ecologist on watershed policy, a Shenzhen hardware designer on iteration cycles. These are hosted as Chatham-House-rule roundtables or studio conversations, not staged panels. We brief both sides in advance so the dialogue is candid and useful.

  • 03

    Government-protocol-compatible where required

For diplomatic missions and delegations with a formal ministerial component, we work alongside your post or government-relations team on protocol-compatible choreography — seating, gift exchange, banquet structure, flag handling. Our programme leads have moved missions through provincial and municipal calls; they know when to step back and let your protocol officer lead.

  • 04

    Procurement-grade logistics, quietly held

NDA-bearing staff, vendor-due-diligence-compatible documentation, indemnification language compatible with corporate legal, and security-cleared movement where the principal profile requires it. Vehicles, drivers, and venues are vetted; manifests and contact trees are shared with your security lead. None of this is visible to the group — the point is that the substance is uninterrupted.

  • 05

ESG and cultural-diplomacy framing on request

Where the delegation has an ESG, sustainability, or cultural-diplomacy framing — a foundation board reviewing a giving portfolio, a corporate group testing a supply-chain narrative, a bilateral cultural visit — we shape fieldwork and conversations against that frame. Craftspeople, conservators, ecologists, and municipal officials are matched to the question, and a closing debrief consolidates what the group heard.

項目範例

起點,而非選單。

每個項目都從第一次對話開始量身設計——以下是典型的出發點,我們會按你帶領的群體、希望理解的事、以及你帶來的限制條件作調整。

  • 01

    Board / executive learning week

    5-7 days

A mixed urban and rural programme — typically Shanghai or Shenzhen paired with a rural region such as Yunnan or Guizhou — built around five or six off-the-record conversations and two studio or field days. Corporate-protocol attire throughout.

  • 02

    Strategic-context briefings, single region

    3-5 days

A tight programme in one city — usually Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen — anchored by executive briefings with sector founders, policy researchers, and one or two municipal officials. Designed for groups who need depth on a specific question rather than breadth.

  • 03

    Cultural-diplomacy delegation, multi-region

    5-10 days

Multi-region programme for diplomatic missions or foundation boards, combining formal calls with studio visits to craftspeople, conservators, and museum directors. Government-protocol-compatible throughout; off-record dialogue layered in where the brief allows.

  • 04

    ESG / sustainability framing week

    5-7 days

Fieldwork-led programme tied to a sustainability question — watershed work in Dali, indigo and natural-dye craftspeople in Guizhou, or a Yangtze-delta supply-chain conversation — closing with a structured debrief the board can take into its next meeting.

  • 05

    Off-record industry roundtables

    4-6 days

A compact programme of three to five Chatham-House-rule roundtables in one or two cities, hosted with founders, investors, and policy voices in a defined sector. Built for C-suite groups who want candid dialogue, not a conference.

我們的取態

高層接觸項目的不同之處。

  • Programme leads who do not change register

Our leads move from a Yi village dinner to a Shenzhen design studio in the same week without losing the room. That range is the difference between a delegation that hears something new and one that hears the rehearsed version.

  • Access that reflects long relationships

The founders, officials, conservators, and craftspeople who host our delegations do so because we have worked with them over years. The conversations are candid because the trust is not transactional.

  • Government-protocol fluency where it matters

For missions with a formal component, we know when to lead and when to step behind your protocol officer. Banquet choreography, gift exchange, seating, and flag handling are managed without fuss.

  • Procurement-grade paperwork, handled quietly

NDA-bearing staff, indemnification language reviewed by corporate legal, vendor-due-diligence-compatible documentation, vetted vehicles and venues. The paperwork side is built for procurement officers who have seen everything; the group never has to think about it.

  • Substance over choreography

We design for the conversation the principals will be having on the flight home, not the photograph. That shapes every decision — who hosts, where the roundtable sits, how the debrief is structured, what is left off the schedule on purpose.

採購相關問題

代表團統籌人通常需要知道的事項。

  • Can you sign our NDA and operate under our vendor-due-diligence framework?
Yes. Our programme leads and on-the-ground staff are NDA-bearing as standard, and we are familiar with the due-diligence packs used by Fortune 500 legal teams, sovereign missions, and major foundations. We can complete your supplier questionnaire, provide insurance certificates, beneficial-ownership disclosure, and references on request.
  • What does your indemnification and insurance position look like?
We carry public-liability and professional-indemnity cover sized for delegation work, with certificates available for your legal team to review before contract. Our standard agreement includes mutual indemnification language; we are also willing to work from your paper where corporate policy requires it, subject to legal review.
  • How do you handle security for principals with a public profile?
For higher-profile delegations we coordinate with your security lead from the brief stage: vetted drivers and vehicles, advance site visits, secured venues for roundtables, and where appropriate liaison with local authorities for protocol-compatible movement. We do not provide armed protection; for that, we integrate with your chosen close-protection provider.
  • Are conversations genuinely off-the-record, and how is that enforced?
We brief both sides — your delegation and our hosts — on Chatham-House-rule expectations before each session, and confirm it verbally at the top of the room. Our staff do not record or transcribe off-record sessions; phones are managed by agreement with the group. The trust is held by the long relationships, not by paperwork alone.
  • Can you align a programme to our ESG, sustainability, or cultural-diplomacy reporting needs?
Yes. Where the delegation has a reporting frame — a foundation board reviewing grantees, a corporate ESG narrative, a bilateral cultural-diplomacy brief — we shape the fieldwork and conversations against that frame and provide a written debrief the board or post can use. We will not, however, manufacture findings; the substance is what the hosts actually say.
