What we collect
Only what you give us. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions. When you write to us via the form on /contact, we receive the name, email, organisation, and message you choose to send.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to our field-notes newsletter, your email is stored with our newsletter provider.
- Anonymous site analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that records aggregate visit data — pages viewed, referring sites, country-level location, device type. No cookies are set; no individual visitors are identified or tracked across sessions.
What we don’t collect
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not sell or share your data with marketing networks. We do not build profiles of individual visitors. We do not run retargeting pixels.
How we use it
Contact-form submissions and newsletter sign-ups are used solely to reply to your enquiry or to send the newsletter you subscribed to. Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
Where it lives
- Contact-form submissions are delivered to our team email via Web3Forms and stored in our email and CRM as long as your enquiry remains relevant.
- Newsletter subscribers are stored by our newsletter provider for as long as you remain subscribed. Unsubscribe links are included in every email.
- Analytics data is held in aggregate form by our analytics provider and is not joinable to any individual.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Write to hello@artoeast.com and we will respond within fourteen days.
For visitors based in jurisdictions with specific data-protection statutes (the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, Hong Kong PDPO, California CCPA, etc.), the rights conferred by those laws apply.
Children
ArtoEast designs programmes for adult institutional and group audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects existing subscribers, notify them directly.
